Shana is a mother of balance.
Shana began practicing yoga as a teenager, taking classes throughout college. After completing her Masters degree in International Health, she worked in public health and continued her studies in nutrition and yoga.
Shana started her teaching adventure with mom & baby yoga and has spread out across the life cycle to incorporate prenatal, teen, and adult classes and workshops. She relishes the opportunity to teach specialty classes so that people of all ages and levels can experience yoga. She especially looks forward to helping parents, partners, and whole families find ways to share their time, attention, and the joy of yoga with each other.
Above all, Shana is a devoted mother. She is also registered with the Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500, a prenatal yoga teacher (RPYT), and YACEP (continuing education provider) with additional specialty training in restorative, kids, senior, and Iyengar-based wall yoga. Shana is currently completing training to be certified as a yoga therapist with an emphasis on women’s health, chronic pain, cancer, and heart disease. She is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor and Certified Holistic Health Coach.
